• • When can I arrive? Gates open for standard arrival Saturday, January 9 at 9:00 AM — roll in and get parked in your section. Registration & check-in then runs 10:00 AM–5:00 PM at Center Camp. Early arrival Friday is for early ticket holders and volunteers.

• Is there power / water / dump? This is dry camping (boondocking) at Lake Havasu Rodeo Grounds — full amenity details in the Amenities section below.
• Are pets welcome? Yes — leashed, loved, and eligible for the Pet Parade & Pageant. Just pick up after your pup, or you’ll be the one in the doghouse.
• Do I have to dress up? Never required, always celebrated. See the costume swap tip below.
• Is BASH kid-friendly? Absolutely — Kids’ Camp, teen meet-ups, and family programming all week.

Lake Havasu Rodeo GroundsDub Campbell Pkwy, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406Inside SARA Park — some maps and GPS units list it as “SARA Park Rodeo Grounds.”

Dry camping by parking section — plan for self-contained rigs. On-site: Center Camp (the hub), the Big Tent (main stage & seminars), Club Blue (crafts, vendors & merch), pickleball courts, food trucks daily, and the nightly fire cauldron. Water/pump-out service details will post here as they’re confirmed.

Parking sections at a glance: Solar, Party, Family, and General sections ring the Arena; Solos has its own corner near General. Find the Entrance Gate on the west side and Center Camp / Club Blue at the heart of it all. Section assignments post closer to arrival.

Parking at BASH isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s part of what makes the week work. Whether you’re rolling in solo, traveling with kids, craving quiet(ish) mornings, or hunting for the nonstop party, there’s a section built for your vibe. The campground loops five sections around the Arena and Center Camp — here’s what each one means, where to find it, and when its gate opens:

• Solar Section — westernmost, closest to the Entrance Gate. For RVers who are fully solar-powered and prefer a quieter atmosphere: generator use isn’t allowed here unless absolutely necessary due to poor weather or an emergency battery issue. A great pick if you like peaceful mornings and quiet coffee time. Standard arrival window: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• Party Section — right next to Solar, closest to Center Camp and the fire cauldron. Sleep is optional in this high-energy section — there are no quiet hours and no noise restrictions, so it’s perfect for night owls and late-night socializers. All ages are welcome, but it’s not ideal for young kids or light sleepers. Standard arrival window: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• Family Section — directly across from Party, also close to Center Camp. Specifically for attendees traveling with children — you’ll be parked near other families, making it easier for the kids (and parents!) to connect, play, and share the BASH experience in a family-friendly space. Standard arrival window: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• General Section — the largest section, on the far side of the Staff & Volunteer area. If you don’t fall into one of the other categories, this is your zone: a relaxed, flexible mix of travel styles, perfect if you’re just here for the full BASH experience without a specific vibe in mind. Standard arrival window: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Solos Section — tucked in its own corner past General. Traveling on your own? Park with fellow solo adventurers who get the freedom and fun of hitting the road solo. This section is all about connection, support, and finding your people without sharing your rig. Standard arrival window: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Arrival times are staggered by section to keep traffic moving smoothly — see the full Arrival Windows breakdown in the FAQs above or on the Schedule page. Parking is “rally style,” so coordinate with anyone you want to park next to and arrive together within your section’s window. Plan to be parked before 4:00 PM; arriving later risks being held at the gate overnight.

January in Lake Havasu means warm days, cold nights, and the occasional stiff wind.

• Layers — desert evenings drop fast; the fire helps, a jacket helps more
• Camp chairs & a headlamp for fireside nights
• Your own coffee cup (Coffee for CARE, every morning)
• A bowl and your best cereal — you’ll know when
• Costume pieces for three dress-up nights — or just use the swap
• Pickleball paddle, potluck dish supplies, and something for the talent show if you’re brave

The RVer’s secret weapon. Limited closet space shouldn’t keep you from three dress-up nights. Bring clothing and costume pieces you’re ready to part with, drop them at the swap, and take what speaks to you. The Last Chance Swap runs Friday 10 AM – 4 PM — perfectly timed for sourcing a prom look. Whatever’s left is donated after the event.

Nine days is a long, wonderful haul — pace yourself. Hydrate (it’s still the desert in January), take quiet mornings when you need them, and know that nothing on the schedule is mandatory. On-site contacts, first aid location, and emergency info will be listed here and in your welcome packet. The Chill Space is 21+; all evening gatherings are monitored and everyone’s welcome to step away anytime.
