Xscapers Annual Bash 2025

The 2025 Xscapers Annual Bash was OUT OF THIS WORLD

Another year, another unforgettable Bash! Over 320 RVs, vans, buses, and trailers rolled into the SARA Rodeo Grounds in Lake Havasu City, AZ, for eight exhilarating days of education, entertainment, and camaraderie. This year, we marked a decade of Xscapers in true celebratory fashion—margaritas in hand, live music in the air, and a spirit of adventure fueling every moment.

Since 2019, Xscapers have taken over the beautiful, sprawling town of Lake Havasu to celebrate our vibrant community the only way we know how—with an epic party. The Xscapers Annual Bash is a one-of-a-kind event that blends tradition with fresh experiences. This year, we brought back some beloved classics while infusing the lineup with exciting new surprises.

The overarching theme of this year’s Bash had a distinct science fiction flair. We kicked off the festivities on Saturday with the tunes of Dez Hoston and the Longwood Band, setting the perfect tone for our first theme night—Cosmic Country. As the band filled the night with twangy country tunes, the dance floor sparkled with a blur of fringe, sequins, and intergalactic cowboy vibes.

Sunday introduced a brand-new twist to a favorite tradition: Bash’s first-ever all-day Lot Crawl. For those unfamiliar, a Lot Crawl is a blend of a progressive dinner, trick-or-treating, and an open house all rolled into one. Attendees roamed between different parking sections—Family, General, Solar, Solos, and Party—each transformed into a popular sci-fi theme. Participants went all out with costumes, decorations, and creative food and drink offerings. As we strolled through a world of aliens, post-apocalyptic survivors, and time-traveling explorers, we shared stories, sipped inventive cocktails, and indulged in delicious, themed treats. The new all-day format allowed everyone to pace themselves, take breaks, and fully immerse in the experience.

As the crawl came to an end, attendees gathered at Center Camp for a musical nightcap. The ever-popular Xscapers house band, The Status Crowes, took the stage and kept the crowd dancing late into the night with their extensive repertoire of sing-along hits.

Mornings at Bash were anything but dull. Attendees had the chance to kick-start their days with activities like pickleball, field games, fitness classes, and breathwork sessions.

Unlike a typical Xscapers Convergence, where weekdays are often free for remote work, Bash keeps the momentum going with a full lineup of educational seminars. This year’s expert-led sessions covered topics crucial to the Xscapers lifestyle, including beginner and advanced solar setups, boondocking strategies, RV maintenance, and Starlink connectivity. Attendees also gained insights on health and fitness while traveling, tips for exploring major national parks, planning an RV trip to Alaska, and even a firsthand account of experiencing Burning Man. Escapees staff hosted sessions on club benefits, SmartWeigh, Escapees CARE, and other valuable programs, while representatives from Harvest Hosts were on hand to answer questions about their recent acquisition.

When the sun dipped below the horizon, the real fun began. Monday night’s festivities started with a laid-back happy hour featuring the smooth tunes of Larry K Music. Then, it was time for the beloved Margarita Throwdown, where 30 competitors vied for the coveted dongle, proving their margarita was the best at Bash. Later, attendees braved the windy evening for section block parties—an opportunity to deepen connections with their neighbors over shared drinks, laughter, and lively conversations around propane fires.

Tuesday night delivered one of Bash’s most beloved events—Xscapers Got Talent. Brave attendees took the stage to showcase their skills, from musical performances and original compositions to bizarre hidden talents, balancing acts, and even a choreographed lightsaber battle. Unlike a competition, this event is about fostering a supportive, electric atmosphere where everyone can shine.

Wednesday brought the highly anticipated Xscapers Olympics, an outrageously fun spectacle where teams competed in hilarious challenges like the “Butt Balloon Pop,” “Sumo Suit Relay Race,” and a human-sized game of Whack-a-Mole. A tiebreaker round of rock-paper-scissors determined the final rankings, and the top teams proudly claimed their bronze, silver, and gold dongles. The night wrapped up with an electrifying performance by Atlas Falls, a high-energy rock band that had the crowd singing and dancing into the night.

Thursday featured an evening of culinary indulgence with Mac & Cheese Madness, where 30 participants whipped up their best creamy, cheesy creations for a friendly cook-off. Later, attendees were treated to a mind-bending performance by Shock & Bizarre, a trio of award-winning Las Vegas illusionists who left jaws on the floor with their mix of magic, sideshow stunts, and mind-blowing illusions.

As the workweek wound down, the party cranked up. Friday night took us back in time for ‘That 70s Night,’ where attendees donned their disco best and boogied under the neon lights to the funky beats of Wonder Boogie, a Las Vegas-based disco band.

Saturday morning arrived all too soon, but we fueled up with a community potluck brunch and the ever-popular Member Marketplace. Attendees showcased their crafts, products, and services, offering everything from handmade fudge and custom hats to stunning jewelry and RV repair services. As night fell, the neon lights glowed bright for the final bash—a high-energy dance party featuring Lyte Bryte and DJ Neon, keeping the beats pumping in Club Blue well into the early hours.

As the dust settles on another spectacular Xscapers Annual Bash, we’re left with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and an even stronger sense of community. If you missed this year’s event, don’t worry—there’s always next year! Mark your calendars and get ready to experience the magic for yourself. In the meantime, keep the adventure going by joining other Xscapers Convergences throughout the year. Whether it’s your first event or your tenth, there’s always a place for you in this incredible community. See you down the road!
