After our children moved out of the house, we decided we needed a smaller more flexible footprint. We wanted to live and travel full time on the road. Both corporate professionals, we had done some small projects around the house. We brainstormed what we would really want, looked at the options, and then sat down to design our own tiny house on wheels. From 5,000 sq ft to under 300. After we took a class on how to build one, we know we could do it and rest is history. We learned so much in the building process as well as from now living and traveling in it for a year and a half.
